Book Description: As the captain of Field County’s ice rescue dive team, Callum Cook is driven to perfection. But when he meets new diver Louise “Lou” Sparks, all that hard-won order is obliterated in an instant. Lou is a hurricane. A walking disaster. And with her, he’s never felt more alive…even if keeping her safe may just kill him.

Lou’s new to the Rockies, intent on escaping her controlling ex, and she’s determined to make it on her own terms…no matter how tempting Callum may be. But when a routine training exercise unearths a body, Lou and Callum find themselves thrust into a deadly game of cat and mouse with a killer who will stop at nothing to silence Lou—and prove that not even her new Search and Rescue family can keep her safe forever.

Captivation:  I did not want to put this book down.  In fact, I didn’t.  I read the book in one sitting, with the exceptions of driving a few places and making dinner – in which cases, I was listening to it on audio.  Thank goodness for long holiday weekends!

Sizzle: It seemed to take forever for the physical relationship to occur, however, it was a nice, steady, entertaining build up.

Romance: I really enjoyed how the author built the relationship between the main characters.  It felt real and the courtship with the sexual tension and the quirkiness of their personalities was a great combination.

Enjoyment: I did really enjoy this book.  It was captivating, funny, interesting, and at times suspenseful.

Literacy: No complaints or concerns noticed outside of standard on how the book was written.  It was professional with good balance.

Conclusion: This book will definitely be on my read again bookshelf!  The humor and mystery involved will capture attention again and again.  I recommend this one to anyone looking for a light-hearted romance mystery
