Book Description: After a devastating blow, the VC Warriors find themselves fighting, but not an enemy they can see. Their power and expertise alone cannot save the ones they love.
Breaking new and old laws, one Warrior is determined to save his mate no matter the consequences, but will his mate agree to be his downfall.
Captivation: I wasn’t sure what to think of this book. Initially I looked at it as a half-book, you know, the ones that are snuck in between main books to be a quick book view of a wedding or quick and sweet. Boy was I mistaken – in a most pleasant, exciting, heart-breaking-yet-happy way!
Sizzle: There is a bit of sizzle in this book, but the book is more about the plot development and known relationships than intimacy.
Romance: This book goes into further development of the characters and their relationships. The development continues and is fascinating.
Enjoyment: Though this isn’t my favorite book from a “romance” perspective, I did like this book a lot. The continued romances and plot for this story are definite worthy reads.
Literacy: I did catch a few minor, common editing errors, nothing horribly unexpected or distracting.
Overall, This book provides value to the overall series and introduces new characters, – worth a read!
