Book Description:  Guilt over past sins drives Jamie Turner, aka Saint, former SEAL and still in the business of black ops, to live a life that would honor the memory of his parents, so the violet-eyed beauty fate keeps putting squarely in his way is a temptation he intends to resist.

Sugar Darling has secrets she will share with no one, but the man his teammates call Saint may be the only man to break through her walls. When danger arrives on Sugar’s doorstep, Saint finds it impossible to turn his back on her. Although he strives to live the life of a saint, as a former SEAL, and now a K2 Special Services operative, he is badass bad. No one can protect Sugar like he can.

As they plan how to defeat an evil man, Saint begins to question his criteria for the perfect wife. Sugar Darling isn’t at all what he thought he wanted, but want her he does.

Captivation:  Wow!  I expected some of the history before reading this book, but found it to be so much more captivating.

Sizzle:  I really liked all of the seduction and intimate scenes in this one.  There are so many emotions that pack into this book…, even in the intimate scenes, it is fantastically done.

Romance: I have to say that the only reason I didn’t rate this category higher is because there were moments where Sugar just annoyed me.  Other than that, this is a really wonderful story.

Enjoyment:  this is truly one of my new favorites, one I’ll add to my recommend list!  I cannot say too much without spoilers, but I will say, this book holds all of the emotions possible.

Literacy:  standard and common errors, not many

Overall, this book is a perfect combo of emotion, mystery, suspense, and developing love!  If not for the semi-annoying Sugar, this book would be one of my truly top favorites.
