Book Description: Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux knows she’s the best—but she doesn’t know if she’s good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful Archangel Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, only one thing is clear—failure is not an option…even if the task is impossible.

Because this time, it’s not a wayward vamp she has to track. It’s an archangel gone bad.

The job will put Elena in the midst of a killing spree like no other…and pull her to the razor’s edge of passion. Even if the hunt doesn’t destroy her, succumbing to Raphael’s seductive touch just may. For when archangels play, mortals break…

Captivation:  Singh captures the imagination right from the start, building unique worlds, people, and plots.  This book really grabs the imagination and holds on all the way through.

Sizzle:  There is seduction and fantasy in this book, a couple of intimacy scenes toward the end, all of which induce both thought and some spine tingles.

Romance: The relationship between Ellie and Raphael is entertaining.  It’s more neat than sweet, with some good antagonism between them.

Enjoyment: I like this book.  Singh does a great job introducing the world she creates while at the same time building a relationship between two rather difficult characters.

Literacy:   I found a few standard errors and a couple grammatical errors.

Overall, this is a great book, and a wonderful start of a whole new world series.
